Jim Carrey Shaved His Beard and Looks Like a Different Person

The actor looks 20 years younger.

Jim Carrey shaved his beard for the Venice Film Festival and wow!. He looks like a fresh-faced, 20-years-younger version of himself. It wasn't just a shave — this was a metamorphosis.

The 55-year-old actor was photographed at the festival where he's promoting his documentary with a very long title, Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond – The Story of Jim Carrey & Andy Kaufman Featuring a Very Special, Contractually Obligated Mention of Tony Clifton. Carrey's look was right for so many reasons. First, the beard! Or actually, the lack thereof. A beard can be great, sure — and it's not as if Carrey's thick, flowing facial hair wasn't good. But wow, there is no arguing how much cleaner of a look the bare face is. Truly inspiring.

And the shave was only made better by the rest of his look. He has a great (and quite voluminous) haircut, cool sunglasses and an all-black outfit to top every other all-black outfit.
