Worst Phones In The History Of Bad Phones

Worst phones in the history of bad phones

There are good phones, there are bad phones and then there are really, really bad phones. One might argue that bad is completely up to a person’s perception but this article focuses on the most basic blunders they made- something that was so obvious yet they failed to make it work. Here are 5 worst smartphones of all time

Nokia 7600

The 7600 was launched in 2003. I admit it was ages back and nobody would probably purchase this phone anymore but regardless I have to mention this phone for the most obvious reason! The designers aimed the phones for the ‘fashion’ types, but unfortunately, the style-over-content design went completely south. One of the basic functions of a phone should be user friendliness but I guess the designers wanted to challenge the users as they made it impossible for them to use it with one hand which, apart from its overall ridiculous appearance, was enough to put most people with common sense off.

LeEco Le S3

This phone’s reviews literally made me laugh. So, there are two major flaws with the design that gave me a “what were they thinking?” feelings right away. Firstly, this phone doesn’t have a headphone jack or NFC. One must be a fan of dongles if they want to purchase this phone. You might think I am exaggerating but let me silver line the problem for you, YOU CANNOT PLUG A REGULAR HEADSET IN THIS PHONE! Do you like to listen to music while traveling? Say bye-bye to that if you plan on purchasing this phone. Also, this phone doesn’t have an NFC chip, therefore you can’t do the most basic thing like purchase stuff with Android Pay. What a bummer! A lot of phones these days are following this trend so I picked this one in particular as a symbol to ridicule the rest of them going jack-less. Raymond Wong from Mashable seems to share my feelings for this absurd trend.

HTC EVO 3D

Ok, so this phone has some great features like 2 back cameras that too 3D. The reviews the phone got was amazing but what many failed to mention was the poor battery. A few of my friends used it and according to them it rarely made it to 8 hours. So, if you are going for a whole day trip, by the time you make it there and start to enjoy, you will probably run out of charge and need to borrow your friend’s phone for selfies. Imagine going through all the trouble of asking people’s phone every now and then and after that begging them to send you the pictures in WhatsApp or some other social media app. Also, the paint and the metal used in this phone is sort of fatigue which makes the phone unidentifiable once you start dropping it. It is a nightmare for a klutz like me.

BlackBerry Storm

Do you remember the movie Godzilla? Remember how everything around Godzilla was so prone to breaking. This phone reminds me of the broken mess Godzilla left after him. The touch screen was so fragile that almost every piece they sold was returned to them way before the warranty ended. Image how bad of a jobBlackBerry did on making this phone that $500m was spent on repairing the already sold phones all around the world! Moreover, this model couldn’t support 3G internet in the most basic places like ahem, the US! And to add a cherry on top of this horrible cake that BlackBerry baked up for us is the phone’s built-in web browser couldn’t even load air quote “complex” web pages that even the most underdog basic phones could.

Siemens Xelibri 6

Ever heard the term “brain fart?” it is the phenomenon where the brain fails to recognize a stupid idea.  Again, not exaggerating it, just look at this phone.

The design simply annoys the feminine side of me. No, a compact powder shaped phone doesn’t appeal to women. Being a female myself, I can personally vouch for it.
